Justin Bedan Njoka Muturi, born on April 28, 1956, is a Kenyan lawyer and politician who served as the Attorney General of Kenya and as the seventh Speaker of the National Assembly from 2013 to 2022. He was the first speaker under the new bicameral Parliament established by the 2010 Constitution. Muturi has held several political positions, including being an elected member of KANU and serving as the opposition chief whip. He has contributed significantly to constitutional reforms and democracy in Kenya while being involved in multiple anti-corruption initiatives.
