Jytte Meilvang is a Danish-Swedish fashion designer best known for her brand Big is Beautiful (BiB). She began her career as a flight attendant and plus-size model before launching her clothing line in 1983. Meilvang won the Swedish Fashion Council's design competition the same year. Her designs were initially made by Jersey-Modeller and production moved to Eisers in Finland in 1986. Notably, she is the only designer to win the Guldknappen award twice, in 1987 and 1989.
