K.C. George was an influential Indian communist leader from Alleppey, Kerala, who played a significant role in the founding of the Communist Party of India in Travancore. He served as a Member of the Rajya Sabha from 1952 to 1954 and was the Minister for Food and Forests in the First E. M. S. Namboodiripad ministry from 5 April 1957 to 31 July 1959. George was also an author, known for works such as Immortal Punnapra-Vayalar and Ente Jeevita Yatra. He was born on 13 January 1903 and passed away on 10 August 1986.
