Kancherla Keshava Rao, known as KK, is an Indian politician and a key figure in the Indian National Congress party. Born on June 4, 1939, he was a member of the Rajya Sabha from 2006 to 2012 and again from 2014 to 2024. He served as the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president in the mid-2000s during YS Rajasekhara Reddy's tenure. In 2013, he joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and became its secretary general, later re-elected to Rajya Sabha. He rejoined Congress on July 3, 2024, and was appointed Advisor (Public Affairs) to Telangana government.
