Kanhaiya Lal Balmiki (1919-1985) was an influential Indian politician. He served as the first Lok Sabha MP from Bulandshahr constituency as a member of the Indian National Congress, alongside Raghubar Dayal Misra. Balmiki was a member of the 3rd Lok Sabha from 1962 to 1967, representing Khurja. Born in Khanai, Baluchistan, he actively participated in the Quit India Movement and was a political detainee from 1943 to 1945. He received his education from Government Intermediate College, Allahabad, and Meerut College. He was married to Ramavati Devi and had four children.
