Kandathil Mathew Abraham, born on May 3, 1958, is an Indian bureaucrat and retired IAS officer currently serving as Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Kerala. He is also the CEO of the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) and Executive Vice Chairperson of the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council. Retiring as Chief Secretary of Kerala in December 2017, he belonged to the 1982 IAS batch and was pivotal in uncovering the Sahara Group Scam during his tenure at the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
