K. Nedunchezhiyan (June 15, 1944 – November 4, 2022) was a Tamil scholar, philosopher, and researcher from Tamil Nadu. He served as the head of the Department of Literature and a professor at Thanjavur Tamil University. Nedunchezhiyan authored 25 books including influential studies on Tamil literature and Dravidian thought. His works significantly impacted linguistic research and revived discussions about ancient Tamil traditions. He is regarded as a prominent scholar in Tamil society, following the notable figures like Marai Malai Adigal and Devaneya Pavanar.
