K. R. Kaushik is an Indian police officer who has served as the Director General of Police for the Anti-corruption bureau in Gujarat. Born on September 29, 1948, he began his career in the Gujarat Police Force in 1972. He became notable as the police commissioner of Ahmedabad during the 2002 Gujarat violence and briefly held the highest police position in the state during the 2007 legislative elections. His tenure has been marked by significant events in Gujarat's law enforcement history.
