K-rupt, born Carlton Williams Bongo Juma on November 15, 1979, was a Kenyan hip hop artist from Nairobi. He was known for his music and worked at Ogopa Deejays studio. Tragically, he was murdered at the age of 24 after being shot once by robbers while traveling in a matatu from Nanyuki to Nakuru, where he intended to perform. His body was found in the Laikipia Forest, according to police reports.
