Kadir Albayrak, born on February 18, 1949, in Tekirdağ, is a Turkish bureaucrat and politician. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University in 1971 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After completing his military service, he began working at Tekel Tekirdağ Liquor Factory, where he held various engineering roles, eventually becoming the factory manager. He served as the provincial chairman of the CHP in Tekirdağ from 2010 to 2012 and was elected the mayor of Tekirdağ in 2014, serving multiple terms. He received the Hungarian Order of Merit in 2021.
