Kaija Anneli Kangas (July 16, 1952 - September 28, 2021) was a Finnish actress and Master of Theatre Arts. She was appointed as a lecturer in theatre pedagogy at the Theatre Academy in 2002. Kangas studied at the University of Turku from 1971 to 1974 and at the Finnish Theatre School from 1974 to 1978. Her career began at the Mikkeli Theatre (1978-1979), and she later performed at the Helsinki City Theatre (1980-1983) and the Turku City Theatre from 1983 onwards. She was married to writer Arto Melleri from 1978 to 1988, and they had two daughters, including actress Sara Melleri.
