Kailash Bhansali was an influential Indian politician and a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Jodhpur constituency from 2008 to 2014 and again from 2015 to 2018. He began his political career in the late 1950s with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and continued to serve in various capacities within student unions and political parties. Notably, he was treasurer of the Rajasthan BJP and won significant electoral victories against candidates from the Indian National Congress. Bhansali passed away on 16 November 2023 due to lung disease.
