Collins began her career as a reporter for The Daily Caller, a conservative news website, and later joined CNN as a White House correspondent. She gained recognition for her assertive questioning of President Donald Trump and her defense of press freedom. Collins was also the youngest White House correspondent for a major US news network when she was appointed to the role in 2021.
