Kajimaru Matsumoto (November 6, 1938 - June 4, 2008) was a Buddhist monk of the Jodo Shinshu sect, born in Matsumae, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from Otani University in 1961, majoring in Buddhist studies. Matsumoto worked in the publishing department and training division of the Shinshu Otani-ha administrative office before becoming the head monk of Honseiji Temple.
