Kakushō Shōfukutei (born May 2, 1960) is a Japanese rakugo performer and puppeteer from Yasutomi, Hyogo Prefecture. He is known for founding the puppet rakugo style and has performed a variety of works including 'Three-Dimensional Journey to the West' and 'Godzilla from Time.' Kakushō has also showcased his talent as a street performer in cities worldwide, including London, New York, and Shanghai, having performed in over 150 cities across 48 countries. His performances highlight a blend of traditional storytelling with innovative puppetry.
