Veikko Aarre Kalevi Pulkkinen was a Finnish journalist and editor, best known for his role as the editor-in-chief of the Satakunnan Kansa newspaper from 1960 until 1981. Born on October 12, 1923, in Sonkajärvi, he served as a journalist at the same newspaper from 1948 to 1960. Pulkkinen was also the chairman of the Satakunnan newspaper association from 1959 to 1960. He completed his matriculation examination in 1946 and was a significant figure in Finnish journalism during his career.
