Kalimuddin Shams (February 13, 1939 - March 4, 2013) was an Indian politician affiliated with the All India Forward Bloc. Born in Gaya, he served as the Minister of Agriculture Marketing/Food & Supplies in the West Bengal government from 1991 to 2005. A lawyer by profession, he actively organized local struggles in Kidderpore. Shams was elected to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in 1965 and represented the Kabitirtha constituency in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from 1977 onwards. He was known for his eloquence and was a prominent Muslim leader in India.
