Kamal Eid was an Egyptian writer born in Cairo in 1931. He studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Cairo and the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hungary, where he obtained a doctorate in literature and arts from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He served as a professor at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and directed at the Theatre and Music Authority in Cairo. He authored numerous artistic studies and contributed significantly to the fields of literature and drama.
