Kambhampati Hari Babu is an Indian politician currently serving as the Governor of Mizoram, making history as the first individual from the divided Andhra Pradesh and the first Telugu person to hold this position in North East India. He served as a member of parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, having won the 2014 Indian general election as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. Additionally, he is a former state unit President of the Bharatiya Janata Party for Andhra Pradesh.
