Kāmil Zuhayrī (May 3, 1927 - November 24, 2008) was an Egyptian journalist who served as the Head of the Egyptian Journalists' Syndicate and the former President of the Arab Journalists' Union. Born in Giza, he was the eldest of eight siblings. He worked in prominent institutions such as Akhbar El-Yom and Al-Ahram. Kāmil was married twice, first to Mona, a medical researcher, and second to Amr, a journalist. He had eight grandchildren and made significant contributions to journalism in the Arab world.
