Kamila Moučková, born on April 8, 1928, in Jihlava, was a prominent Czech radio announcer, moderator, reciter, and local politician. She made history as the first television news presenter in Czechoslovakia and Europe. In 1968, she was the first to announce the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia live on television. Her contributions to broadcasting were recognized when she was inducted into the Hall of Fame at TýTý on April 12, 2008. She was also a recipient of the state honor, the Medal of Merit.
