Haji Kamarudin bin Ismail (February 8, 1956 – December 8, 2019) was a Malaysian animation director, writer, animator, and comic artist. He is renowned for directing the animated series Usop Sontorian (1993–1997) alongside cartoonist Ujang, produced by Kharisma Pictures. He was also the creator and animation director of the superhero character Keluang Man (1997–2001). Kamarudin is recognized as a pioneer in Malaysia's animation series and the first digital animation on TV.
