He acted in numerous films before moving to Britain in 1973, where he participated in significant stage productions, such as 'The Trial of Iraj Mirza.' He was married in 1977 and had a son, Saam. Notably, he is also the half-brother of pop singer Leila Forouhar and the uncle of scholar Reza Aslan.
