Jitsukawa graduated top of her class from the Tokyo University of the Arts high school and continued her studies at the same university, completing her master's program. She also finished the postgraduate program at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Throughout her education, she studied under several esteemed instructors, including Chiyoko Yamada and Sumiko Mikimoto.
