Karan Mahara is an Indian politician born on July 12, 1972, from Uttarakhand. He is a two-term member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, representing the Ranikhet constituency. In the recent assembly elections, he defeated the former BJP state president Ajay Bhatt. Currently, Mahara serves as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.
