Karen Højte Jensen, born December 2, 1938, is a Danish politician and former member of the Folketing and municipal councils in Hvalsø and Lejre, representing the Conservative People's Party. She trained as a teacher in 1964 and worked in public education. Her political career began in 1971, leading to her election to the Folketing in 1979, where she served until 1998. Jensen also held various local political roles and was awarded the Knight of the 1st degree of the Order of Dannebrog in 1997.
