Karin Schulze, born Rüger on April 1, 1944, in Wernigerode, is a former German high jumper who competed for East Germany. She achieved notable placements, including ninth at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and seventh at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Schulze also finished second at the 1965 European Cup and fifth at the 1969 European Championships. She was the DDR indoor champion in 1964 and 1971, recording a personal best of 1.83 meters in 1968. She is married to fellow high jumper Thomas Schulze and has a daughter, Sabina Schulze, who excelled in swimming.
