Karine Parsami Aghekyan (February 10, 1958 - January 29, 2021) was an Armenian freedom fighter, athlete, and sniper, who participated in the three wars in Artsakh. She graduated from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture in 1979. From 1989 to 1994, she took part in self-defense and liberation battles in various regions of Armenia and Artsakh. Despite being wounded multiple times, she returned to combat. After 1993, she lived with her family in the liberated village of Agavno in the Kashatagh region. She passed away on January 29, 2021, from a heart attack.
