Karl Mahrer (born March 4, 1955, in Vienna) is an Austrian politician from the ÖVP and former police officer. He served as Vice President of the Vienna State Police Directorate and as the Provincial Police Commander of Vienna. From 2017 to 2021, he was a member of the National Council representing the ÖVP. In December 2021, following Gernot Blümel's resignation, he became the interim regional party chairman of the Vienna ÖVP and a non-executive city councilor in the state government and city senate Ludwig II. He was elected regional party chairman of the Vienna ÖVP in May 2022.
