Karl Schümers (October 17, 1905 – August 18, 1944) was a German SS colonel (Standartenführer) who served as a regiment commander and temporary division commander during the occupation of Greece. He and his troops were involved in numerous atrocities, including the massacre at Kleisoura, the massacre of Pyrgos Kozanis, and the Distomo massacre.
