Karol Stopa is a Polish sports journalist, commentator, and former tennis player born on March 12, 1948. He graduated in law and journalism from the University of Warsaw. Stopa worked as a journalist for Kurier Polski from 1971 to 1989 and held a brief role at Przegląd Sportowy. In 1989, he became program secretary for the sports editorial department of Polish Television, where he also served as a reporter and commentator. Between 1997 and 1998, he led TVN's sports editorial department and has been a regular tennis commentator for Eurosport since 1998.
