Kars van Tarel is a former Dutch volleyball player born on September 30, 1974, in Borne. He primarily played as a setter. Van Tarel started at Dynamo and later moved to Landstede in 2001, returning to Dynamo in 2004. Throughout his career, he achieved success with Dynamo, winning multiple national championships, cups, and the Supercup. He extended his contract with Draisma Dynamo in May 2010 but retired from the sport in 2015.
