Kasia Glowicka, born Katarzyna Głowicka on October 12, 1977, is a Polish composer and lecturer in computer music at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. Her musical works encompass compositions for opera, theater, ballet, and film, with a focus on current social issues. She experiments with various styles including experimental, minimalist, avant-garde, art music, and contemporary classical, often integrating electronic music. Glowicka is also a founding director of the Artek Foundation and its label ARTEKsounds, and resides in the Netherlands with her husband, composer Henry Vega.
