Kate MacGregor is an English sailor, born on January 12, 1991, in Poole, Dorset. A member of the Poole Yacht Club, she initially studied business at Southampton Solent University but paused her studies for sailing. MacGregor won a gold medal at the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival and partnered with her sister Lucy MacGregor to achieve notable successes, including a gold at the 2010 ISAF women's match racing World Championship. She competed for Great Britain in the 2012 Summer Olympics in Elliott 6m match racing, alongside her sister and Annie Lush.
