Kateryna Amosova is a Ukrainian physician and cardiologist, born on February 8, 1956, in Kyiv. She is a professor and a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. Amosova served as the chief cardiologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine from 2004 to 2005, and as the rector of Bogomolets National Medical University from 2014 to 2018. She graduated from Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute in 1978, earned a candidate degree on myocardial infarction in 1983, and a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree on dilated cardiomyopathy in 1988.
