Kathy Kelly (born in 1952) is an American peace activist, writer, and co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness. She currently serves as the co-coordinator for Voices for Creative Nonviolence. Kelly has traveled extensively as part of a peace team, notably to Iraq twenty-six times during the early days of the U.S. wars against Iraq. Her recent focus has been on Afghanistan and Gaza, along with local protests against U.S. drone policy. She has been arrested over sixty times domestically and internationally and has written about her experiences related to U.S. military actions and prison inmates. Kathy resides in Chicago.
