Kathy MacKinnon (February 28, 1948 – March 18, 2023) was a British zoologist known for her dedication to conservation. She collaborated with numerous government organizations and NGOs throughout her career. Notably, she served as the lead biodiversity specialist at the World Bank for 16 years and chaired the World Commission on Protected Areas for the International Union for Conservation of Nature from 2015 to 2021.
