She gained fame in the 1970s as part of the pop duo Mac and Katie Kissoon with her brother Mac, releasing several successful singles. In the latter half of the 70s, she became a studio musician and vocalist, collaborating with various artists including Van Morrison, Roger Waters, Elton John, and Eric Clapton. Notably, she worked with Roger Waters and participated in his tours.
