Katrine Toft Væsel is a Danish middle-distance runner born on October 21, 1991. She gained national recognition in 2007 by winning senior medals at the Danish Championships and representing Denmark at the European Cup in the 800 meters and at Nordic Championships in cross country. That same year, she secured third place in the Short Cross DM and was a medalist in both the 800 meters and 1500 meters at the DM. Væsel has won the Søndersøløbet three years consecutively from 2008 to 2010 and currently competes for Skive AM.
