Katsumasa Tsunenoyama, born on January 29, 1963, in Nishinoomote, Kagoshima, is a retired Japanese sumo wrestler. He was affiliated with the Dewanoumi stable. His real name is Shigekazu Shimomura, although he used the surname Hashimoto at one point. Standing at 182 cm tall and weighing 117 kg, he specialized in the right-side grip and upper arm throw. He achieved a highest rank of East Maegashira 12 in March 1992 and July 1992.
