He is affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo and is known for his comedic performances. Koeda is also a director of the Kamigata Rakugo Association and has a reputation for humorous storytelling. He has two daughters and two grandchildren, and is affectionately nicknamed 'Koepyon' and 'Mr. (Night Scoop)'. His performance pieces include popular music like 'Mickey Mouse March.'
