Kaushal Kishore (December 31, 1940 - March 2, 1999) was an Indian polymer chemist and the head of the inorganic and physical chemistry department at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). He was known for his research in thermodynamics and polymer combustion. Kishore was a fellow of several prestigious organizations including the National Academy of Sciences, India, the Indian National Science Academy, and the Indian Academy of Sciences. In 1988, he received the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research for his contributions to chemical science.
