Kaze Nakahara is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator born on December 23, 1955, in Yamaguchi Prefecture. He graduated from Yamaguchi Prefectural Tsuya High School and Osaka University of Arts, specializing in oil painting. He won multiple awards for his manga works, including the Shogakukan Big Comic Prize and the Shueisha Young Jump Prize. Apart from manga, Nakahara has created CD cover illustrations and picture book artwork, and has been active as a commentator on television and a radio personality. He has been a designated professor at Tokuyama University since 2005.
