Kazuhiko Nishi is a former Microsoft employee and developer of the MSX standard for home computers. Born on February 10, 1956, in Kobe, Japan, he served as Vice President of the Far East operations at Microsoft until 1986. He then founded ASCII Corporation and collaborated with NEC's Kazuya Watanabe to develop the MSX standard. Nishi is involved in various board areas, including the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. As of 2020, he is the principal of Suma Gakuen High School in Kobe, Japan.
