Kazuma Murasaki (born March 13, 1963 - died December 2, 2008) was a Japanese novelist from Yamagata Prefecture. A graduate of Toyo University, he transitioned from working as a bank employee and manga editor to becoming a full-time writer. He specialized in period fiction, historical novels, and erotic literature. Murasaki debuted in 2004 with 'Kakushibito Henkiri Shiranui Hanbei Yami Shumatsu,' and he also published under the pen name Mitsuhiko Amakasu, debuting in 2001 with 'Boshikankai Kinki no Shussei.'
