Kazuo Kashio was the founder of the Japanese company Casio. He graduated from Nihon University in March 1951 and, in 1952, established Casio with his brothers. Kashio played a pivotal role in the development of Casio's products, particularly the company's first calculator. By 1957, he became the product leader for all Casio products and later served as the sales manager in 1965. He was the chairman of Casio from 1988 until his death on June 18, 2018, in Tokyo, where he was born on January 9, 1929.
