Keiichiro Asao is a Japanese politician born on February 11, 1964, in Tokyo Prefecture. He has served as a senator for Kanagawa in the Kokkai since 2022 and previously held the same position from 1998 to 2009. Asao was a member of various political parties throughout his career, including the NFP, Shintō Yūai, DP, Minna, and Kanagawa Minna no Kaikaku, before becoming independent and later joining the LDP. He was a member of the House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017 and served as the chairman of the Minna no Tō party in 2014.
