Keiji Sanpei is a Japanese karateka born on September 13, 1954, in Tomioka, Fukushima. He achieved notable success during his competitive career, winning silver medals at the World Open twice and securing the Japanese championship three times. An accomplished martial artist, Sanpei was a student of Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate. Since 2000, he has served as the head of the Fukushima branch of the World Karate Organization (WKO).
