Keiji Yoshitani was a Japanese manga artist born on January 19, 1937, in Itabashi, Tokyo. He debuted in 1954 with the loan book 'Friendship of Three Stars.' He worked extensively in various magazines for boys, girls, and school years, and assisted Jiro Tsunoda. In 1969, he helped establish Fujio Pro's graphic division and published 'High School Drifters,' which was later adapted into a film. In 1974, he co-founded Family Planning with Mitsuaki Furuya and became independent in 1981. He passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 84.
