Keiko Nagata (born March 3, 1947) is a Japanese researcher in children's culture, hailing from Aichi Prefecture. She graduated from Aichi Prefectural Women's University in Child Welfare and earned her Master's degree from Kyoto Women's University. She has been awarded the Japan Children's Literature Society Award Encouragement Prize in 1987 for her work on the evolution of picture books and toys. Nagata has held significant positions in various literary societies and institutions, including the Osaka International Children's Literature Museum, and has served as a university lecturer.
